Hi all,
just wanted to share a link to a thread I posted in the open forum.

I know that it's not real exciting for all the racers here,
but for a kid with Down Syndrome, and only his 3rd time to ever ride his own quad,... It's a pretty big deal for us.

I tell you what, many others that are against riding would be saying that was unsafe and you were endangering your child but heres my take on it. I think this promotes TOTAL independance, when Nick is on his machine he is feeling 10 feet tall, he is HAVING to make his own decisions, where to go, how to manuver, how fast to go and also building a sense of fear which is very important. The big part to me is that there is alot of physical excercise and mental decision building that will surely help ANYBODY down the road in life.
