i have a built 87' 250r never really followed the 4 strokes much but i did just buy a 07' 450r for a play bike gonna run a rossier exhaust which is the best cam for a xc setup heard alot of good stuff bout the hrc cam but really don't know any other one's out there?

04-06 CRF450R cam is the same as the HRC cam... Hotcam II is another good one for what your want.

I run a HRC cam in my 07 for XC racing. Plenty of power on tap;)

If you're doing XC I would get a stage one Hotcam. It has more bottom end than the stage 2
