broke my trans

well i busted 3rd gear in my tranny at least i think its 3rd gear. but i had some dents in the bottom of the shift forks are they still usable or are they junk now?

Second and third pictures look like the camera focused on the wall behind it. Can you get another picture, focusing on where the rod goes into the fork? it looks like there's damage close to an important feature

Apply some transmission oil to the rod that goes inside the shift work and slide it back and forth. if it doesn't feel smooth i'd get new ones.

Just to be sure, inspect all points of contact, there should be no burrs, indentation from the broken gear, or wear beyond the mfg wear limit. Do you have a set of good calipers?
