The latest dyno of my son's quad:

It has a few things done to it....

Ported head
+1 exhaust valves
RW pipe
15:1 piston
Web cam
Bored carb
FCI intake
No Toil filter
stock bore and stock stroke

Soon to come:
different piston and different pipe.... hoping for more...

i can see maybe getting a little more from the motor with the right pipe, but the piston i'm not so sure. Your already running 15.1 compression...

We are expecting to pick up some power with the pipe change. Not much but it all adds up after a bit.

It is hard to see getting more power with a different piston. We currently are running 15:1 and a 0.010" decked head on top of that.

The problem is the current piston has a pretty high rise on the dome. This dome may be interfering some with the combustion process. The head porter (very reputable shop) thinks this is the case, as do other engine builders not associated with this build. We will soon find out...

The head is a Racer's Edge Gen1 head, should be good there....

There's some minor things that might be holding it back some...

Changed pipes and picked up 2-3 on the bottom to mid, and 1/2 horse on top.
