I just put these tires on my 2001 400ex and thought i'd post a review of them for others. To start off, i ordered these tires on a friday through motosport.com and they arrived the next tuesday. I paid $95 and some change for the tires shipped to my door. I decided to go with 20x10x9. I had them put on and went for my first ride of the year at S-Tree down at the Daniel Boone National Forrest. I should have checked the pressure in them before i went on the ride but i didn't. On one of our breaks i checked them and realized they were at 22psi (i guess to seat them on the bead). We backed them down to 5psi and took off and these things are awesome. Most of the trails had some good sized rock on them, and the artrax tires gave great bite and never left me stranded. Biggest mudhole i went through was about 2 feet deep, thick, mud, and with a little throttle i made it through. Took it through a creek that came up to the front fenders and had no problem getting out. And through smooth trails, the tires slid just enough to go fast and have some fun. Overall, i'm thrilled with these tires, especially for the price, i don't think they can be beat for under $100. Hope this helps some of you all out when deciding on a cheap set of tires.

6 ply can be a good thing, depends on what it is used for. 6 ply in an mx tire is way overkill unless it is a gncc type mx tire but then it would be called a gncc or 2 or something. not an mx imo. each ply adds more weight more weight=less power since it takes more to turn that amount of weight. lets see em! steve

I've been watching along about this tire a long time because I know they have been running them in europe since I picked up my KFX450R.

This team has been running them...

I have been running the ARTRAX fronts for a couple months now and they've held up pretty well. They look almost identical to the I-Razr fronts.

Yeah, I have just been wondering if they are a BETTER front tire than the i-Razr because that tire does not get good reviews.

I am the type who will buy a set of 4 so I would be interested in how you think the fronts turn and brake.... compared to???

Well I wish I could compare them to a similar aftermarket tire but I replaced the worn out stock fronts that came on the bike when I bought it this summer. They seem to do a good job with cornering & braking but again, I have no basis for comparison.
