400ex or 450r

which do you guys prefer.
for what i do i like the reliabilty and especially reverse the 400ex has what about you guys.:cool:

mine doesnt have reverse, but i still love it
Super reliable even when they have moderate motor work and with a good rider could still beat up on some 450s

i had a 400ex with a few mods and bolt-ons liked it very much for crusing trails and leisure riding but when it came to more performance riding and serious hill climbing i prefer my 450r. i am not saying the 400 cant go were the 450 does but i prefer the more agressivness and handling of the 450. both have basically the same mods.

depends how you plan to ride it trail riding i would suggest the 400ex but any mx or dunes i suggest 450 still wishing i never would have built my quad instead i could have sold it and bought a 450.

I have a built 450R and a built 400ex, Love them both. The 400 is a much better leisure quad then the 400. For just getting on and cruising around - the 400 is more at ease and easy to ride. But for performance there is NO comparisson the 450 is the machine!!!

tight trails and technical climbs, I would opt for a 400ex. Fast open trails I would go with the 450r.

Coal piles = 450r too.
