all the stick stabilizers are the same, they work...sometimes. They blow out easy and arent that great. Go with a puck style if you have the money, precision, probillet or whoever took the elka one over, or the CCP from ebay ive heard is good

Several threads (somewhere on this forum) rave about this cheap puck. Works well I heard. $175.

awsome man, thanks, ill prob def go with that then. bc i gotta do something. and the general idea im getting about the rod dampers is that they r junk. and for basically the same price id say its worth a try if people r saying good things about them.

I`ve run a CCP dampener for 2 years now with no issues Although I do not race anymore I ride alot of woods and rocky areas The CCP has held up great

Yeah the ccps on ebay look really good, and have heard a lot of good things about them, I have elka system 5 on my kfx got it off ebay or a forum for a pretty good deal works really good, had a gibson, but took it off when we got the elka for it. The gibson worked pretty well I thought when I could get it to clamp securely on the round kfx frame tube always came loose, then we put the gibson on a yfz we had and had the same problem wouldnt stay clamped. Now we have it on our ds450 and it hasnt blown out still, but works really well on the ds450 because the part of the frame we have it clamped to is square, works great on the can am. Just if you can keep the stick type from falling off then they do there job. But I would try those ccps on ebay, or find a used precision or elka gpr or somethng
