just wondering if any one has adapted any newer front shocks onto their zilla? maybe from the ltr450 or z400? or what aftermarket ones do you guys like?

whats the stock length on the zilla shocks? I'm running 660 raptor length shocks on my lt250 (15 3/4") and love them. they are works dual rate shocks.

did the 660 raptor shocks bolt on without any modification to shock mounts? thanks

the bottom mount bolts right in. the top you have to grind the bushings down(make the top thinner) to make it fit in the LT's mount. Not a big deal. I would only recommend this length shock on some +2 arms. They will just be too long with stock arms..

zilla's use a shorter shock than the 87+ 250, it's in the 14" range for sure. not really where what stock is but I know it's under 15" and the works on my 250 and other 87+ 250s is 15"... for stock arms.

I think stock length 400ex is close and banshee shocks are 14.5" IIRC not that I'm recommending those. but when I talked to fox they said I could try the banshee floats :) as well as a couple others for my 250, the banshee shock off hand I know is close to what you need for a zilla as far as length goes. .25" shorter I think.. but I don't have a zilla this is from rearing posts on qrhq.com ;) as well as a few other places. but I don't have any solid info beside the shee shocks are probably the closest to what a zilla needs as far as what's available in MANY options, like I said, fox floats come in that length so that is a VERY hard bolt on combo to beat...

Banshee shocks are not recommend as replacement Quadzilla shocks. They are the WRONG length.
