Newbie exhaust question

Hey Guys

Just purchased a brand new 2008 525 irs. Is there a baffle in the muffler i can remove for a bit more sound? or do i have to get a aftermarket pipe?

Should be a screen in your stock pipe, take out the screw and take out the whole screen. It will give you a nicer sound and maybe a little more performance

Sorry mate im unsure of what screen your talking about , i cant find any screw at the end of the muffler either. Please give more detail if you can :)

The 2007 is the only year that you were able to remove the baffle. the 2008 and up you cannot remove the baffle at all.

In my 08 i removed the baffle, its a screw under the tip of the muffler. un screw it and the whole screen comes out.

mine is single rear axel though, dont know if that makes a difference?

2010's you can definatly remove it as well. Sounds completely different. If theres a power gain its too small to notice.
