I am looking into a set.. I am not looking to spend a ton. From what I have came up with, most of them are made from 1 3/8 aluminum. So the strength should be close on them. naturally the ones with the intergraded foot pegs are more. I am happy with my stock pegs for now.. I am looking at a set of ALBA nerfs . Anybody have exp with them or Tusk??? Any info is great. Thanks

dg kromelites lol they have saved my foot from being hit so i guess they are worth while. although they did buckle pretty bad and made my machine unrideable to get back to the truck. I think it was just the angle it got hit at though, it was pushing back and hit the tire. I dont think i would get any more chrome. lol back when i got it, i thought the chrome look was cool on it. now i like the black more so my next set would be black. no help on either one listed though. i like the ones that go behind the peg though not under it. I have custom pegs that are extended only in the front with a kickup on the sides. I made them myself so it is nice to have the bar behind and the addition of 1/2 inch in the front to help make it more stable. steve

I recently purchased a set of Alba nerfs and heel guards, same thing as Tusk, just a better price. Pretty simple to mount up. no problems yet, very satisfied!:D

I did notice that about them 2, then after reading they are made by the same company.. How do they feel as far as structural strength???

I'm 6'2 about 200lbs. the first thing I did was stand on one side, no movement at all. No problems yet, but I just trail ride, don't race or anything like that.

Been running AC ProPegs with red nets and built in heelguards since 2003, can't complain. The ProPeg is HUGE and has outside kickup, has saved my feet from coming off many times!

Returning a set of rock nerf bars tomorrow. Fitment was horrendous. Without installing more than 1 bolt, it was obvious that the right side bar would have wound up sitting 1 to 1 1/2 inches higher than the left side.

Very nice bars, but horrible fitment.

These were not their pro series bars with heel guards and pegs.

Just ordered a set of pro armor sport series.

I love my Alba ProPegs. They fit perfectly and bolted on easily. So much easier to ride with the wider, longer pegs. Much better control. Super light too.

Thanks for all the reps fellas.. I picked up a set of the albas. They are just priced rite, I have not found any horrible reviews on them, are a good clean looking set of bars.. I am not a full out race guy, so these should do me just fine. Pics to follow once these bad boys show up.. Thanks again
