I want to use the cr head gasket on my stock 250r motor for the added compression. I am assuming i need the 86-89 gasket is this correct? also I need a complete gasket set as it has a complete new bottom end, and while looking for this I found one that says it is not intended for use with .010 head gasket. is there a certain bottom end gasket I should use? I'm assuming they say this because the added compression from the top could cause the bottom gaskets to fail, is this correct? thanks guys.

Cometic, has a complete top end gasket set that includes a 0.010 thin head gasket, so no need to get the CR head gasket seperate.

I dont have the gasket set part number's in my head right now, but I know they offer it for the regular up to 68mm 250R cylinder's & the big bore sleeved 72mm 250R cylinder.

cool thanks. is this a complete set with bottom end gasket as well? all the cometic ones I found have a graphite/ss head gasket. is this what I'm looking for? or do you know of a store where I can order the correct one from? thanks for your help.
