You got them confused Mo. That is his XC quad. That is not the quad that normally has the Black Plastic. His MX Quad has the Black plastic. He has Red on it now tho.

I say cut them Lou. I cut mine for MX and I wouldn;t ride any other way. It much more comfortable.

i paid like $350 shipped for the plastic but rec unlimited has it for $300 with shipping.
yea i think im gonna cut the rears a little, i know my boot gets hung on it some times when there not cut.

i think this stock frame will hold up good for xc'n, if not its arens all the way. :D

i usually cut them right below the metal fender bracket.dont forget this an R so it may be differnt, i never had to cut my 400ex rear plastic, it was never in my way.
