300ex rev limiter Q's

How many rpm's does the stock rev limiter kick in at? How much higher is an aftermarket limiter? Thanks,later,Nate

hmmm from what i have heard noone makes an aftermarket higher rev limiter for the 300 just the 400 most people just take it all the way off

on motojoe.com, there is an aftermarjet rev limiter for the 300EX that is like 200 bux, i think it adds 1000 RPMs, not sure, go check it out, on the motor page i think

If you dont want that, Four Stroke Tech does there Black Box mod, wich i think they take yours, and eliminate the limiter completely, that is 85 dollars

thanks guys, I'd realy like to know what the stock limit is though. It's for the new decible testing thingy at silver lake. We have to be at or under 94db. That is at 20" at a 45*angle at 1/2 the rated rpm's. I hope my quad conforms!!!
