How does one install a seat cover? Are there any tricks or special staples

put in the dry for a few minute to warm it up, that will make it softer and easier to stretch
next you have to get an electric staple gun because the mechanical one just aint going to cut it, that plastic is very hard.

Air or electric gun is manditory. Like previous post said the mechanical type won't work. I actually got some iron on patch and applied it on the back side where a staple had started a rip. I will caution you though, temp is critical with the iron or you will met right though the cover. Good luck.

what i did was remove all the old staples with wire clippers. Warmed up the new set cover and stapled it on MANUALY. cuz thats the only staple gun i have. Some of the staples didnt go in all the way but i just tapped them in with a hammer. took about 15 min and didnt cost me nothing

take it and get it professionally stretched... if u don't have it on tight and right it will rip easier... its only like 5$ to have it done here....

It is not a big deal, if your cover is new you should have instructions , I would follow them. In adition to warming the cover I warm the base (hard plastic bottom) up so that it accepts the staple better. It is not a difficult job if you take your time.

Good Luck

yeah i've put 3 covers on before, 2 quads and a dirt bike, just get a friend or two and you'll be all set, i did it manually with no problems, just make sure you are hold the stapler down hard enough

I've had these pic for about 6months I just know figured out how to use the avatar. Ive got a better one but I don't think they accept it since there naked. But I think i'm just going to have my seat cover done because I don't have a heavy duty staple gun.
