who makes a nice aluminum air box for a 250r? also looking for an aluminum gas tank for a R

I know CT Racing sells them. Never seen an aluminum gas tank though.

aluminum gas takes are usually custom built i assume you saw on on a dirtbike cause thats the only place ive ever seen them so youd have to have someone build you one

There used to be a few racers that used aluminum gas tanks on their TT quads. I believe Greg Baker may have ran one and even Zac Willet. A drag quad or TT would be the only type of quads I probably see one on. All custom made.

i think there were some desert racers that ran them also, i have only seen two of them on ebay in over ten yrs

I have a CFM airbox on my 250R. Bought it off Ebay a few months ago. Only have one ride on my 250R since I installed it, but I am happy with it so far.

I have also seen a couple of aluminum gas tanks on desert quads. The ones I have seen appear to be custom made.

I'll also be running a CFM aluminum air box, they seem to be made very well!

a company called Lance Shoonmaker use to advertise in dirtwheels with larger capacity desert tanks for the 250r among others. if i recall correctly they were 5 gallon tanks.

there was one for sale on ebay about 3 months ago

Team KWIK was another one... back in the day. I've never seen one for sale lately though... I'd love to have one myself...

um racing has/had air boxes. I have one and works fine

just looked at one of my old dirt wheels they was an article about on a dessert r it had a Lance Shoonmaker tank i was 6 gallon.
