the only difference should be mounting points on the frame as far as the years go most things are interchangeable except for a select few things

yeah, FMF lists differnt pn for the 86. I dont know why.

everyone (CT, Duncan, LRD, Sparks, etc. etc. etc.) else doesnt list the 86 seperate. I have a 88 style FMF gnarly and a LRD on 86s - no problems
