Hey guys, i just ordered some +2 A-Arms and am wondering if my stock 450r shocks on my EX will be able to handle the extra leverage? If no, then will it get me through a little jumping on my sand flats at St. Joe State park next weekend until i can ship the shocks to Laz?

they should work great on +2s from what i hear. i may end up doing the same thing to mine next summer. let us know how you like the setup when you get it together. steve

The stock 450r setup? or the Gt THunder setup? lol

both. I have heard great things from the stock setup since they are a bit stiff on stock arms they are excellent for the 2s. the gt ones are even better since they are valved for the arms already. the stock valving is much closer to being 450r style with the 2s so they ride just like they are on the 450s and better from what i have ever read. just from the vine though ya know. take it for what its worth... :D steve

I run stock 450r shocks on my +2 arms and I love them. Everything works great and the handling improvement was huge.

That’s the way mine is set up and it works great, it will hold up just fine.

I have stock 450r shocks with +1+2 A-arms and they work great.
I would definitely recommend the upgrade.
I rode a 400ex with stock suspension and it was like night & day.

I already have 450r shocks and have been riding on them for a long time. Waiting for the a-arms to arrive. Will the extended brake lines i ordered for the a-arms accomidate my +2 steering stem better? and do you guys know where to find and extended throttle cable?
