Nice Bars Troy. I love your dedication and patience to have things custom made... Skid Plates, Airbox, Nerfs..etc...

This is truly going to be a one of a kind build. Keep up the good work!!!

Here was Steeve's response:

Hi Troy ,

I would like to make those nerfs , I know there is still a market for the 250r and aftermarket chassis but they are very rare around here and I really need the chassis here to build the 1st model , and then make a jig. I like my nerfs to fit really good so thats why i prefer to have the chassis here. I placed an ad on our forum saying that I am looking for one so if I get an answer I will keep you in touch.

thank you ,

Steeve @ F43

New hoods, tank cover, and shock guard from FW carbon... White hood is probably going on the Saber bike if I keep that bike...

what type of shocks do the guards fit

They have them for all types of shocks, my shocks are PEP PB1's, and these are for PEP remote rezzy shocks, so we're not sure if they will fit the PB1's or not so I'm trying before I buy... haha...

Hey there, I was the guy that originally asked Jay for the shock guards to fit on my PEP shocks. So I believe that I got one of the first sets (aside from Troybuilt who help make them). So I know that they will fit remote rez Peps, because thats what I have and I already tried them on my shocks!!! I don't know abpout the PB-1s, they should work if the bottom shock stay where the spring rides is the same! They look sweet by the way!! Mine have a Blue weave in them to match the rest of the fourwerx stuff I have!!! I'm diggin that Jays steppin in to keep making the 250r Carbon fiber parts!!! Everyone should buy some!! LOL!

So Higgy they mounted ok then? I never got any feedback. I designed the collars that mount to the shocks. Which was hard to do when i didn't have any PEP shocks at the time, just your old collars to go off of.

I think the ones in the pics are the very first ones Jay did. They are thinner construction, I am using them to make sure they fit the PB1's before I buy a set. If anyone is interested I'd suggest hitting Jay up, I know he's got them for all makes of shocks I believe. I think Jay's stuff it gorgeous. ...and yes there is more to come that he's told me about so stay tuned...

Yes let him know if you want some and I'll need the base collars to design a new set for that has the mounts for the shock guard. Not too difficult... just takes a little time.

BTW, do you still want an engine stand for the 450's? I haven't forgot about that...

Troybuilt: They seemed to mount up just fine I haven't put them all the way together yet I just popped the collor on the bottom of the shock! It looks like it lines up perfect, so far. They snapped on perfect the only thing left to check is the clearance for the springs when everything is put together. I'll let everyone know when I finish putting these together this weekend. Thanks Higgy!

Update: Project took a major turn this past week... :D :D :D... as does most of my projects, turn into an overly complicated ordeal!!

Well going to run an MX built Saber motor in this bike... ...i.e., actually ported and setup for MX. Motor is going out to Arlan Lehman at LED this late summer early fall, when he's got some breathing room. We talked for a couple hours on how he wanted to set this motor up. I liked that he was excited about the challenge, and I think if anyone could do it he's the guy... He's also going build a custom pipe for this that smoothes out the power, similar to his old LRD LT500 pipes, (which were sweet). Trick is getting it to fit into the Laeger Narrow frame, but he thinks it shouldn't be a problem. He's made custom pipes for this frame in the past.

So this weekend I've been pulling the Curtis Sparks motor and getting it ready for sale, along with the Curtis Sparks MX pipe.

I mocked up the Saber in the frame, and really need to do some sort of custom front motor mount to stiffen the mounting up a tad, this motor is a hoss!!

Also installed some FWC shocks guards on the PB1's, I need to design a new mount cause they don't quite fit, but you can get a good idea how they are going to look.

Lastly, I installed a new PWR radiator and going to run a custom Spal fan with this radiator, it was thinner than the last radiator which allowed more room for the fan. I've also been working on mounting the MSD ignition since it requires more complicated mounting system. Need some Pumashine help to mount the CDI... (got and idea!!)

Check out the pics so far:

The hardware is just something I had laying around, I still need to figure that all out. Probably can't recess them much cause that would require a form to make the skid vs. waterjet plate = i.e. much more expensive. Just need some button top style heads on them.

Just a few updates, I'll see what pics I have. I'm having a lot of custom parts made right now, so its a waiting game.

1. Mounted a Pusher Spal fan onto my PWR radiator, looks sweet, but I'm having Pumashine build me some radiator relocation brackets to tilt the radiator slightly to get more clearance bw. the fan and the steering stem. Polished Stainless of course!!

2. FWC is making me a custom Carbon fiber MSD CDI mount, I mocked up an aluminum one but I think a CF will look much better.

3. I was able to use one of Pumashine's CR coil mounts to mount the MSD coil perfectly, like it was made for it!!

4. PinitATV is doing ALOT OF WORK for me right now. He's finishing up some adaptor brackets I designed so I can mount my 04/05 450R pegs/nerfs onto my frame.

5. I'm switching swingarms, to a custom 86 style (where it uses a bracket for the swingarm bolt to go thru for the rear motor mount). Pinit is modifying a CR500 swingarm for me. We both thought that with the monster motor we need to really stiffen the frame and improve the motor mounts. The CR500 link frames don't have the last most motor mount. So we are making on.

6. Pinit and I are also working on a custom "sub" frame that connects the front motor mounts to the frame headstay. The Saber motor doesn't use a headstay, and the motor is so large that the custom Laeger style headstay I had made for it without the brackets to connect to the motor, still doesn't fit.

7. Been working on a lot of graphics lately, and decided to redo my graphics some. Just playing with some ideas I had.

As you can see the headstay doesn't fit:
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i260/robltc/Project%20Elsinore/DSCN1992.jpg

Here is the mocked up MSD CDI bracket, getting a FWC one made for it.

I think I have a pic of a model I mocked-up for conversation.. I'll try and find that. But basically we want to connect the front motor mounts to the headstay. Similar to a Laeger CR500 motor frame, only the uprights are removable instead of welded in... and the motor connects to them, instead of those flimsy bend motor mounts... the motor is going to be putting out considerable Hp, which the frame would be fine if it was a drag or duner. Currently there is only the 2 motor mounts on the bottom and the front motor mounts that hold the motor, I cannot use a headstay with the saber top end. So that's not enough for this engine, I'm afraid...

My radiator fan is located on the other side of the radiator. I noticed that yours is located on the front? Which is better and why? Also how are you gonna power your fan. Will you be able to run it right off of the MSD ignition or coil? I'm not to familiar with wiring and what it takes to set up lights and anything aftermarket that needs power to run. I have the CR 250 set-up on my bike. DO you know what it will take to run lights and a fan on my bike?

but as far as which cools better, i would say the best is to pull extra air through the radiator instead of pushing it through, again if clearance allows,

but notice Troy is using a pushing not pulling fan,

obviously you have to use different types for front push and back pull

troybilt
09-02-2011, 04:19 PM
I would have prefered to pull the air thru but with a narrow frame the uprights from the frame are too close and the fan doesn't fit. So I went with a pusher fan. I still had to tilt the radiator slightly to fit right. I'll be running a fullspectrum battery setup for powering the fan and the MSD, not running lights (but will have leads for possible lights) charging the battery with a 200w stator...

Higgy87TRX425
09-02-2011, 07:47 PM
So I'd need to change my stator and use a battery to run the fan and lights. As for my fan, it just barely fits inside of the frame with like 1/8th of an inch clearance from that down tube. I'm not sure if I wanna run lights on my bike, but I'd to be able to if I decide I want to somewhere down the road. Thanks for the info guys. I may have some more questions here soon. Thanks Higgy!

Here is the Nerfs mounted up. These are Factory43 nerfs for an 04/05 450r. I designed the stainless adaptors for the pegs, and the aluminum cross tube support. Feels very sturdy. I used my stock 89 bike to locate the leading edge of the peg in the exact locations. Feels great, and the nerfs have lots of heel room which I like. I never understood why not all nerfs are mounted this way on the front. The cross tube support is the cleanest mount I've used.

Hey Troybilt this build is looking sweet, cant wait to see the finished product. maybe I missed it in the post but, I was just wondering your reasoning for mounting the fan on the front of the radiator instead of behind? Probly a clearance issue, It just seems much more susceptible to damage in that location, as well as your radiator since you probly wont be able to run any gaurds. I know your gonna need all the air flow you can get with that behemoth of a motor though, lol. keep up the good work.

troybilt
10-16-2011, 07:11 AM
Will, the Laeger narrow frame, has narrow rails behind the radiator that won't allow you mount a fan behind the radiator, unless it was a small 4" one or something.

I'm still contemplating on the motors again. So not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Sending the Saber off this week to see what I'm dealing with. Then plan to make a decision to either tune that motor for a monster mx motor or build a new 350-370 PV mx motor instead and sell the Saber. Stay tuned.

Elsinore is coming along. Plan to have it finished by the first part of next year. Once the motor details are finalized I can finish out the other odds and ends. Progress, Progress!!

Sure Dustin, pm me your # or I can pm you mine...

Tire rim combo: I've bought a set of tech 3's Hipers dual beadlock 8" rears, and plan to run DWT Goldspeed SX tires, (buddy Jay at FWC has kind of talked me into that tire/wheel combo)... Also considering going with DWT Champion in a box wheels... So I might run the Hipers for dunes... not 100% sure yet.

Also Jay at FWC has been working on a totally new hood for the 250r. I just received the first unit for my build. The pics don't do the hood justice. It is a sick looking hood...

Note, I switched powder colors on my frame so I'm going with the traditional black carbon vs. the silver carbon. Also notice the anodized black grill...

Elsinore Part II

Went a different route on the powder. Its a deep charcoal metallic. Almost gunmetal color. This was just about the original color I wanted. See what you think... The gold looks killer with it.

I experimented with Anodized gold bumper. I coated my brand new Rath bumper. It looks great, but not perfect. The welds were not the exact 6061 aluminum so they showed up a little darker. I'm actually designing and building my own bumper similar to the original Hondaline bumper, but more of an MX style. Stay tuned!!

Your bike looks sick , but I think that you have the same issue that I have. Everything has to be perfect and its not then it will need to be redone until its 100% to ur liking!! It may be a little anal, but thats just how it is. I know that I'll never stand behind a pile of garbage that's half *** put together and be like "I built that", lol! While everyone else looking at it is thinking "yeah so I could an APE with some duct tape, silicone and satety wire!!
What I'm saying is it always seems to take longer to have things done the right way, but in the end you'll always be happier with it and feel better about what you built. I guess it doen't matter if everyone else likes it as long as you like it, because thats who ur building it for !!! It sure is nice to get those compliments though, lol!
Sick build I really wanna see it come together man. You take longer then I do, ha ha!
Happy Holidays Higgy

Looks good Troy. I liked the old frame color, but the new does look better. You still going to build that Puma motor for this?

I know you had a "2010 model" sticker for the frame, who did you get it from? (I would look myself, but I don't want to look through 35 pages!) I would like to get a "2011" sticker for my LSR frame, so far the only thing I have found is a guy on ebay selling them for $30 something, don't really want to pay that much for just a sticker.

The Parker 250 is next weekend, will be racing on my 450R. You still planning a desert build?

Thanks for all of the nice compliments!! It is taking much longer than expected. Mostly due to the motor changes.

I plan to run a Saber motor actually. I know what most are thinking and that is an overkill of a motor. But the Saber is being build like no other. It is being detuned alot and setup for lots and lots of torque. I wanted a motor that ran like my 450 did but still be a 2 stroke. There will be plenty of drag 310's and 330's making more hp that I will. But I wanted to do something unique. There is no replacement for displacement!

I get all of my frame stickers from Harlan Lysne. email: hjlysne@charter.net I think it was around 16-20 bucks for the entire set. The 2010 stickers were custom made and were a little extra but he can do any year. 2010 is long gone for this build, I will need 2012 stickers... haha...

Yes I'm still planning on building a bike for Parker 250. It will be a 250r, but I've been working on my own frame design.

Thanks Troy, I will send Harlan an e-mail here in the next couple of days.

I knew you had a Saber motor, don't know why I said Puma, I was a little tired last night! I like the idea of you building the Saber, like you said, it will be unique.

Don't worry about this build taking a while, I can already tell my LSR build is going to take ALOT longer then I thought it would. Biggest problem for me is motor also, I wanted to run a CT 350 PV top end. Have been speaking to Allen quite a bit lately, getting some stuff for my 700XX done. He has no 350PV's in stock, has been out for a while, he has already used every spare part he has to get others up and running. Sounds like Pro-X isn't in a big hurry to produce anymore. I may just have to put my 330 top end back together so I have something to ride. I have a feeling it will be a while for a CT 350PV, and I am not sure I want a ESR 350PV, but might be my only option. Have to call Allen again next week, hopefully he will have some more info, as he was going to talk to Pro-X last week.

Doug, if you are building a desert racer, why not get a cpi sphynx 350? CPI is the company that makes pro-x so I'm sure they are onto what they consider a newer better design in the sphynx and puma setups. They are built for going all out. I believe a pv can be added to the sphynx but not the puma.

Troy, Believe me when I say I know how it is with a build taking a long time. I believe from the time I ordered my HRE frame till now is going on 4 years. I only had it in my possession for a little over a year and I was too busy and had too little money to put toward it last year.
I should be well on it's way to being done besides the motor by spring. I don't know if I'll get a thread upto 30+ pages though.

Doug, I was going to suggest a Sphinx cylinder as well... I know Arlan builds a mean 350 Sphinx motor.

Worked on the bike somemore today. Basically have a few odds and ends, but mostly just waiting on my motor to get finished.

Mounted the shocks/guards, Protrax +4, axle, brakes, tank...

Oh, looking for an aluminum tank if any one has any suggestions. The Silver Carbon cover is forsale!

Does the 350PV kit on LED's website use a Sphinx cylinder? I forgot all about LED, I remember looking at that 350PV kit many months ago. Guess I have to give Arlan a call and see what he can do for me. My only problem is, I probably can't afford it, I know those Sphinx cylinders are $$$.

I think you and I are wanting the same thing out of a motor Troy. I love the top end of my 330, just wish it had a little more bottom to smooth the powerband out some, hoping a Power Valve will help with that.

More great pics, that airbox mounting turned out pretty good!

Doug, When I last talked to Arlan. He wasn't doing a 350PV out of the Sphinx cylinder. He was still building the 350PVs from the ProX cylinders. He builds a 350 that can be setup for woods/MX out of the Sphinx but was not a PV. He said it wouldn't be cost effective to do a PV in the Sphinx setup. His words...

As far as motor, I guess I'm getting lazy... but I liked the ability to basically leave my 450r in 3rd and hammer the trails/track etc... Letting the motor bog, etc... and using that torque. I want to build a 2 stroke that can to the same thing, but still have a little of the top end that 2 strokes are famous for.

Thanks Will. It would be finished already if I didn't run out of $$.. I can only do a little at a time. Getting closer though. Plan is to be completed by end of March for the annual 250r Dune trip. Biggest hurdle will be the motor and custom hand coned exhaust.

Awesome built so far Troy!! If you still use the 450R rear caliper, be sure to put your airbox as high as you can because it will do some damage to your airbox if you come up short on a big jump!! It happened on my Roll Design, with the same airbox you have!! ;)

Thanks I'll keep that mind, I sure don't want to dent up my airbox... LOL! Didn't think of that with the 450r calipers...

Well I wasn't going to post these pics until I was done with them. But I've been working on my own design of bumper and I just love it.. Its only tacked together but I think it looks perfect. It will be chromed when finished. Waiting on my TIG welder right now...

Here's the project I'm pretty excited about, this is an aluminum tank I'm working on. I designed this on CAD, and then mocked it up with poster board. Looks and fits perfectly. Last pictures of the tank is with a heavy rubber coating so I could drill into it. Best part it uses the existing stock mounts front and rear. I just received my brand new TIG welder so I'm going to start on these soon, along with the bumper. I sold the house so I have a few weeks/months where I'll be in transition but then can get back to work on my bike....

This is the first iteration of tank I'm working on, the 2nd generation I actually lowered the CG significantly... should be a nice improvement. More to follow.

I haven't checked out your build in a while. Why did you decide to build a gas tank? Does it hold more gas or did you just wanna trick your bike out more? Either way the bumper looks sick, you're gonna chrome it right? I'll be checkin out that tank when its done! What size motor are you gonna go with to finish off this beast, are you still planning on using that Saber or a variation of it??
Thanks Higgy

troybilt
03-14-2012, 09:47 PM
Yes I plan to increase the size of the tank for the Saber motor. It will be a 496 Saber motor and is being messaged over right now, basically detuning the motor way back for MX style riding. It will still be a torque monster.

Higgy87TRX425
03-14-2012, 10:06 PM
I can't wait to see it done or at least finished enough to ride, because I now know that they're never really finished. You get close and then you find something else to improve, lol! I guess thats just how it works. I have most of or at least the start of a Saber motor. 2 cylinders, new cases, a crank and a carb and a Pipe. I need to buy a Tranny, slingshot lockout clutch, and a CR ingnition. So there at least $1200, ouch! ha ha ! That build will be after my LRD build is finished. I am curious to see what kinda power that ur Saber will make!! Even detuned it should be a beast!! I'm subscribed so I'll be watchin ya!
Thanks Higgy

BTW: Elsinore is looking good!

nice build troy.

one thing you might want to redesign is the skidplate. if you keep it like that its only gonna take one or two digs into something hard to rip it apart.and it will act like a shovel and sand will be in the pan

1. have it go all the way to the front of the frame and angle up by the bumper, kind of like the ac skid plates

2. a cut out for your oil drain(if you want)

I don't understand why you have a fan of any kind on the bike. I dont know how much flow the fan does but I think at 3rd to fourth gear the fan will be blocking free airflow to the radiator and may have less flow and more heat then without it. you already have an oversized radiator? so why the fan?

I like the classic style graphics I think it looks cleaner without fourtrax or 250r near the sides of the hood

def like the black better then the grey for the frame

good idea chromng the subrame over what it was with pcoat

Also, I had all my billit parts polished and had them pcoated with a clear red flake powder coat and all the parts still look great they may not shine as much but its minimal compared to non pcoated polished parts and the keep up for the pcoated polish parts is just like cleaning the rest of the bike back to new..

I like the airbox mounting clamps, keep in mind you may have to move the airbox further forward and the oem airbox tabs may get in the way of the clamps. hopefully they wont.. dont be surprised if your swingarm comes up and bashes your airbox either I did nothing with my cfm aluminum airbox because I knew it would happen eventualy..

one other thing about the airbox... theres no cut out area for the chain, my cfm has that...you might want to address this sooner then later or your air box will get destroyed. take the shock out and bring the swinger up all the way with the engine mounted and chain installed. to verify this. even with the cut out for the chain mine still has scrapes on it and it has worn through... even with the chain roller guide

Heres something that may make you want to redo the frame again... my laeger frame has pro peg mounts in front and back so I just slide the pegs on and bolt them up. you can make your frame trick by taking out the mount for the front of the pegs and get a chromoly bar that will fit with minimal clearance into your pro pegs and put the chromoly pipe into the propegs and spot weld the new bar onto the frame. I uploaded a pic of the pro pegs on my frame. ALSO this may give you a place for the saber motor mounts? not sure on that...

You could always redesign the head stay or the saber and have it curve around the head with about a 1/2" clearance and have tabs to mount to two of the cylinder head bolts, by replacing the capped nuts with regular nuts so you can double nut the head to mount to the headstay.

I have heard of too many people spending countless hours trying to lower vibration on cr500 motors and the like(non counterbalanced motors) even with rubber mounts and the vibration is still insane and numbs the hands.... if you don't rubber mount it you will be sure to crack the frame and even with rubber dont be surprised if it cracks your frame. I know it seems impossible with rubber but it has happened with cr500 motors....

put it this way, even with a trx250r counter balanced motor, if you have a titanium frame the bike will still vibrate so much that even my friend who had two of them got rid of them because of the vibration from his trx410 motor...(as well as cracking them)-easier then chromoly

the point of telling you that is the chromoly frame absorbs a lot of vibration but non counterbalanced motors still crack them and if you plan on making some type of motor mount for the saber try to use the stock locations as much as possible. Im not trying to discourage you just letting you know.

Please don't take any of these thoughts as offensive to your build. I just want you to be aware and congratulate you on your endeavor into the Rdome hehe

Maybe its just me, but I was under the impression that if you were gonna run Longer A-arms in the front that you were looking at running like a 19 1/4" shocks LT!! Now I cold be mistaken, but thats what I thought? However I know normally the longer the length of the A-Arm , you run,the longer the length of the shock, you need to run with it! Now with stock length A-arms maybe you can run like a 16 3/4" shock? I'm not sure so someone "PLEASE" someone answer this so we can both be enlightened??

Good things come to those who wait! Waited almost a year for this motor.

Received my motor this past weekend and installed it.

Full MX ported Saber 496cc motor, specifically built for MX. BDT built the motor for me and touched up the polish, fully polished motor. Also have a fully polished 40.5 A/S carb coming too. Still waiting on the custom hand-coned pipe.

Also changed direction on graphics. Waiting to find some white FB's then it is just about done other than a few odds and ends, alum tank, pipe, etc...

thanks guys!! Actually the motor has been done for several months we were waiting to see how the pipe project was coming along. BDT actually had one pipe made for it but it was a little peeky for the type of build I was going for so they scrapped it and are working on another one. It turns out to be quite a challenge to fit a saber pipe in a laeger narrow frame, getting it all to fit and getting the length of pipe needed to smooth out the power. To my knowledge has never been done before. My backup plan is to possibly use an LED pipe and modifiy it.

I had plenty of stuff going on this year so it wasn't a problem waiting on the motor. I sold and built a new house and my wife and I just had our 2nd 2 weeks ago today. So now that the dust is starting to settle I can get back onto my project.

I'm building this for the Indy show in Feb. So after 2 years of comtemplating graphics and since I re-powdered the frame I decided to go with a more traditional Honda theme. I actually have the graphics all printed and done. Hoping to find some white fb's, if not going to go with Maiers.

This particular Laeger frame uses a CR style brake pedal. I ended up finding a beat up BBR CRF pedal for 25 bucks, so I completely sanded all of the scratches down and re-polished it, I then made some bushings for it and modified it to work. It actually fits pretty well.

The last big piece to the puzzle: I was concerned the Saber motor didn't have a head stay and these bigger motors tend to vibrate a bit more than a 310, etc... so I'm having BDT machine a new head with a head stay in it and I bought a carbon fiber NRG engine damper to mount to the head stay and try to tame some of the vibrations. The motor is fully balanced...

Here is the damper I'm going to try and use. I ordered it yesterday. I still need to design a new head stay bracket to mount the 2 together.

That damper sure looks like a good idea. Got my wheels turning. I like the idea better then a solid mount stay

That's kind of what I was thinking however, I have to build some sort of head stay cause the Saber head interferes with a stock head stay and especially the laeger headstay.

Update:

Been working feverishly on fabricating my own hand coned exhaust. Just about finished with the prototype. I'm still waiting for parts to be laser cut and weld up the actual pipe, but I decided while I was waiting to try and make one old school style, by tracing the parts and cutting them out by hand. Takes alot longer but you can appreciate the craftsmen ship of those old handcone pipes. There is a heck of alot of work goes into making.. Seems like I laid about a mile of weld! I started to get alot better by the end. This was my first time welding thin gauge sheet metal. This prototype was made from 22ga material.

Its turning out better than I thought. I may actually go ahead and finish this one and see how it runs with it, while I'm working on the next one. Couple of cones I'm not particularly proud of, but this is a prototype and I've learned alot so far.

before captain obvious gets on here, the pipe is just resting there its not mounted. I've just set it in there to get an idea what's its going to look like... :o

1.25" ID.

What stinger/silencer do you use on your Puma's? I plan to build my own silencer but it would be nice to use one for testing, since I've got alot on my plate to build right now.

Using 1.125" ID. I believe this is what is considered a big bore stinger size used on 400+ cc motors

Hey Troy,

If you can't find an LRD big bore Silencer to try.....look for a Universal FMF Silencer....they offer them in 1-1/8" ID

And you can weld up the brackets they supply to suit your frame.

few more updates on the pipe, just about finished with it, still need to braze some braze some stuff and finish the silencer:

Awesome work on the pipe. Do you start with big cones and cut them or do you template each section? Did you roll them yourself? It came out great. Smooth.

Quad looks awesome Troy, you should be very proud of yourself for building your own pipe, I know that is something I would never try.

Hopefully you can get this thing out and ride it, I know it has been a long time coming. Hopefully I will get mine finished up one of these days also!

Have you hooked up the lower Rad hose yet, looks close, or maybe I'm just seeing it at a funny angle.

I also may steal your air box mounting set up. Are those brake line clamps for a-arms Mounting it?

Truly amazing Troy, wtf is there anything you can't do bro? That is a professionally built pipe even if its your first, must be nice to piss excellence every morning. I'm ready to see them graphics you designed for it.
Oh btw my girlfriend wanted to know if she could get you to do a graphic kit for her...I told her you might not want to. She is gonna get a raptor 700 with income tax money. I said that it might be to big of a hassle if its not a 250r. Anyways I just figured I'd ask.

haha that's hilarious!! I'm going to tell my wife that... I piss excellence in the morning...

Soon I will have the bike totally complete with the graphics installed etc.. and reveal it.. just need a few minor things and she's done.

On the raptor graphics I wouldn't mind doing them at all, I've just ran into a snag, the software I'm using isn't compatible with the plotter. I really need to get adobe illustrator so I can continue to do those, I've had a ton of requests.

Ironically, your's was the only set that I was able to get printed! Jay had to do the rest. He could work up a set of graphics for you girlfriend too I'm sure.

Thanks for the compliments!
