Im sure this is dumb question but there is only supposed to be one spring seat for each valve right? (the washer that sits around the guide at the bottom of the spring) I ask because I took my springs and valves off to change my valve seals and when I flipped the head over a vlave spring seat fell out BUT all the valve spring seats are still in place so I can only assume one of the springs had 2 seats for some reason. why would anyone do that? the guy I bought the quad from had half a brain so who knows but I just want to make sure one of the valves isnt randomly supposed to have a doubled up spring seat.

best thing to do is check out the manual or the head schematic on bike bandit or service honda. It seems that there should be 2 parts but i cant remember if it is on top or not. someone will know though if you wait for a while. i am just saying to look if you have it tore apart now and have to get it back together. steve

looked at the manual and it only shows 1 seat per spring as i suspected. wonder why the guy would have had 2 on one of them, or maybe it was just lodge in somewhere as the head was just in a dirty box full of parts, well im only putting 1 under each spring no matter what
