cam journal stripped what to do

the reason oil was leaking out of my weep hole on the cylinder was the head cover was loose cause bolt is stipped out tourqued to 7 pounds but herd its a common problem but can find the part online do the sell them sepratly

You can not get the camshaft cap seperately it is replaced with a complete head.This happens when a torque wrench is not used and the bolt is over torqued.You will have to get it repaired with a helicoil or (my choice) with a time insert.

got to be realy careful with those bolt i messed my journals up before.
i was even using a torque wrench and it was set to 7 pounds too. sence then i snug them with a small 1/4 rachet
and as said before helicoil it

Been there done that unfortunetly. The helicoil works great though, I have not had any issues since doing that.
