400ex to 400x plastics?

im thinking of doing my 400ex in a retro honda style to achieve the sleek smooth nose like a 250r with no headlight. i was gona buy all new maier 08 front fenders white and blue or white and red with the scooped hood. i was wondering can i fit 08 ect 400x plastics on my 99ex or did they change the mounting points?

they fit but the front mounts are said to be a bit different. if you search it, there are pics around of how to do it i believe. steve

did some part number checking on 07 models. the front brackets for this swap. looks like the center bracket for the front is the only difrient one. but the headlight setup requuires all new brackets light ext. dident check the back because i want to keep the old style rear fenders

will do mac .im so behind the ball on quads i dident realize honda revamped the plastics in 08. i thought they still looked like the 07s lol. gona go with the 07 front end. hopefully i can get my hand on everything for the headlight used.
