is there any chance that when I take out the pivot bolt on the swingarm that it will get sprung out of alignment due to the downward force of the rear shock and the weight of the quad? Not sure if I could get it back lined up and insert the bolt. Is anything going to fall out too?

there shouldnt really be any force on it from the shock.. should line up fine only problem you might have is actually getting the bolt out.. they tend to get seized up pretty bad

Not sure if you are servicing the bearings or maintence or whatever, but the little bit of misalignment that might occur will be easy to correct by using a long screw driver or long 3/8 extension to put thru the frame hole into the swinger to help hold the swinger in place, or to put it all back together. There is some bearings in the swinger front pivot, so be gentle. Some are needle bearings, and some an actual caged bearing. No worries

Glamis400ex, getting ready for the big couple weeks coming up? When you heading out this year? We'll be out off of Ogilby Road, like usual, should be in the sand the Wednesday of the week before thanksgiving week....

What's up bro...
I typically go out the Saturday before T-Day. That gives us 5 days of clean sand and then we leave T-Day morning and do dinner with my mom. We camp in wash 92 between the RR tracks and the road into the tower at Ogilby.

Seems like you are not far from us at all. I'm going to try and swing in there at some point and see if I can meet up with ya, if you don't mind. Would be cool to see your quad. We'll either be on quad, razor, or a big black jacked up mega cab with tribal paint and black rockstar wheels. Or maybe honda 3 wheelers. (Too much stuff to ride...) We must ride right by your camp, or damn close at least since we are camped not far from the tower.

yeah, no worries. You know what the quad looks like. Stop by if you see me in camp. There's usually 3-4 rigs in wash 92. Were the only onrs there ever.
