why did you replace the oil pressure sensor?

check the battery. it may say on the dash that it has a good charge but take it in and see the voltage you are getting out of it. the battery may not have enough juice to turn on the fuel pump, meaning you wouldnt be able to hear it. would be an easy fix for you.

ok but seriously... I can figure out no starts better then anyone I know, but people on the internet NEVER take the right advice, they just look for the easiest answer, if they can't do it they give up and let someone else do it... BUT... IF the battery has enough voltage to crank the motor, it has enough voltage to spin the fuel pump. But here's the thing, do you know what the fuel pump sounds like? The old one could have been louder then the new one, you might just not hear it. Besides that, you need to check for voltage going to the pump first. If you have voltage going to the pump you need to drop the tank again and see whats going on. But if you dont have voltage you need to work your way back. check the pins where the relay plugs in and make sure they are not pushed out. I would take a jumper and put voltage to the wire that goes to the fuel pump and see if it pumps. If it doesn't, your problem lies between there and the pump, check all connections, but if its not a big deal, maybe even just run a new wire. But if jumping it does make is pump, then your problem is between the relay plug and the ecm, could be a loose connection or the ecm not turning the pump on. There are no other safety switches or anything that would keep the fuel pump from spinning. UNLESS its a ford then it might have a impact sensor tripped in a kick panel (I believe they are on the passenger side on all of their trucks)

And no sense replacing the oil sensor because the engine needs to be running to make oil pressure. Unless its some sort of heavy equipment and has a Murphy shut down LOL

fuel pump wont turn on if the tank pressure sensor is unplugged or gone to....

use jumper wires to a battery and check the new pump with it out of the tank just to make sure it works... ive gotten bad brand new parts before

bc if the oil pressure is to low it will shut off power to the pump...

btw it was a fuse... :p truck runs now...
