Smoked a stock 450r today.. :D

I really didn't think I would walk on a stock 450 like I did, considering they are close on HP stock as I( think I am) now. From 2n'd to balls out.. When we rolled into it( wanted to come up on me), he stayed with me untill top of second, then once I made the shift to 3rd, I jumped out, pulled, 4th was even further, when I hit fifth I had a mile on him.. We are doing a full pipe, jet kit, filter tom, so the results might change this weekend. I will let ya all know. But none the less I am happy at the out come.. this was done on a black top road, so on the dirt might be diff...

You guys crack me up :D , its all good.. At any rate I think it is pretty good.. If this happens again after a rejet, full pipe and filter on the R, I will feel even better that my dinosaur hung with a newer designed, lighter bike.. I doubt I could or would hang with a hrc'd R, but I wouldn't be scared to try it out.. What do they make with that kit, 50 hp??

seriously the best lookin 400 here. Im glad you didnt cover it with AMS OIL stickers, cut the plastics, and put black tape on the headlights

Aye man thanks alot. I am not big on the whole sticker thing on anything at all, actually took a SOS pad to the tires soon after the pic to wash the AMBUSH off the tires.. I liked the factory look of the 400 plastics, lights. I was looking into getting the race cuts, but they didn't offer the factory headlight holes, I would hate to cut 5xx$ plastics up for a race cut look.. I tell all the guys it's stock.. Hahahah BTW tom I am going to race my buddy again. I just finished up jetting, piping his bike. If I can infact pull on him, or stay with him, I am totally stoked, will love that my old school bike hangs with the new school tech..
