Which mods?

I need a little advice.

I've had my EX for a few months now and I am getting more experienced riding different types of terrain. Trails are nice but tracks and the dunes are my favorite. So I think I have decided to sell my quad next year and buy a 450.

I don't want to install a bunch of mods and lose all that money when I sell. I know I need a set of nerfs but I am also looking at a durablue 2+2 axle and some 450r shocks. I figure as long as I get a good price on them I won't lose any money.

So what do you think? Where should I draw the line?

well the 450s are more to maintian i would just bore it out a little with a higher compression piston thats where most power is made do at least a 10:1 a hot cams stage 2 450r, ported head if you wanted with bigger valve and you will spank 450s

buy the 450r. I have a 03 416 11:1,stage II,fcr carb,full yosh exhaust,new clutch, running 110octane. My 07 r with just an exhaust and jet kit pulls away every time.
