I just picked up a pitbike from a buddy cheap and it looks identical to crf50 but says icon 50x. has anyone heard of these and do they interchage? I wanna build it up just for the heck of it to ride the pits.

Also it will roll start but wont start by kicking it??

most of the stuff should fit but the frames are usually weaker on these

just another knock-off 50. most all 50 parts will interchange.

i'm not sure about little motors like that. but when you can roll start it and not start it like normal. thats usually an indicator or valve adjustment

my buddy has a chines pitbike knock off. and we just rebuilt the whole thing. all 50 parts are interchangedable except the frame, wheels (his has 110 wheels on it) the clutch (50's dont have clutches) and suspension. pretty sure everything else (plastics, bushings, bearing, some internal motor parts, ect) will def be interchangeable. just go to ebay and you will find EVERYTHING you need there. good luck with it..

pitbikes are the best couple dollars you will ever spend. i love it and i got all my boys into them too. great time, cheap and stuff dont break all that often. i look at them like bicycles with motors. crash em, trash em, jump em and dump em. good times im tellin ya..

found alotta info on my bike @ planetminis.com The icon50x that i have is the crf based in a +2 form. The frame is tougher not weaker than the stock crf's. Everything will change over from a crf except trans. parts. Im thinking about getting a lifan 124cc or the 140cc motor. These little bikes are monsters built right. Some of the parts are dirt cheap and affordable. Im not sure how far my pitbike hobby will go but id like to build it just to pit around the nats.

i loved.. actually still do love that thing. worst mistake i ever made in getting rid of that.

needless to say i like 110's more, but the 50 is fun for screwing around.

im switching back over now, got the 50 up for sale in search for another 110 to build. plan on doing almost the same bike i had before
