Here is a link to pictures from Maple Shade 9/19/10. I took pictures of our group and couple more kids who I don't know so if you were there and were running minis I might have some of you. Look through and if you want one let me know I can send it to you.

PS The lighting was horrible (heavy fog and rain) and I am not a professional photographer so some aren’t too good LOL. There are 200 pictures and uploading as I type so.... check back in a couple if it doesn't seem to be alot.

Thanks
Shawn

That was an awesome time.
I thought the track was groomed great. Turn out was great. People who ran the track was great. The "after hours" activities were excellent.
Definately going again next year.
I thought the best race of the weekend was between Jeremy LeDonne and Davie Dabrowski (i know i killed his name. sorry.)
It was an amazing race. Wish that was on video.

Very special thanks to The Reimer's!!! :D

Hey Tom, your strategy with the pister worked by the way, Zach talked my ear off about it for an hr and half on the way home ! He's in love with it, actually told me to sell the cvt!! Hmmmm!??? Maybe my ticket to sanity!?? LOL.

I told you guys you won't be disapointed. We had agreat time with all you guys. It was nice to go to race just for fun.

Tom, I think the 2nd best race of the day was Hunter and Zack in the 70 shifter class. They must have passed each other 7 or 8 times in 4 laps.

The nite time fun also a great time. Hope you guys enjoyed the the pudding shots and the test tube shots.

Gotta say thanks to Jen and Sal for bringing the Fireworks. The show was awesome.

Tom thanks for letting Zack ride Kattie's and Hunter's shifters he has been wanting to to try and ride shifter for a long time. I know it meant alot to him.

Sorry about that Dave. I feel your pain, with the last name thing. My last name is Skladzien. Imagine that one.

Those boys were awesome to see. Mutual respect for sure.

We had a blast this weekend also. We will be there next year for sure. That 90 mod race was awesome. Hats off to Davey and Jeremy.
I also want to thank Doug and his wife for having this race. It was our first time there and everything about it was very enjoyable. The Saturday night dinner was great!!!!
I know it's a year away but a can't wait to go back.

Hope everyone else had just as much fun as we did.

Hello Rob, glad to have met you guys.
As far as Jake's ability: I believe he is real close to being ready. Do some more practice races right up to the 1st National race and go to it and see how it goes. Truely, the Mapleshade track was not very technical BUT most tracks are becoming that way. Some of the tracks have one or two places that are difficult that separate the elite from the rest.
Parents get intimidated with the whole "National" thing. As long as your expectations are not to high, its just another race. You'll probably be surpised - then your hooked.
Your equipment is top notch so stay with Hetrick and he'll keep your machine capable of running up front. I can tell you this, You've got one of the fastest 90's in the country.
Jake seems like a strong boy so I think he can handle it. Keep in mind that he will be racing against much older kids. Teach him to hold his lines and he will do well.
DJ Bassani is only 8 and he is a constant front runner and could win both 70/90cvt championships next year. - imo.
Now, you know, if only he had a fast 70, he could run both classes too! I may know a guy that knows a guy that has one. :p
