BDT Motorsports has them for sale, don't know how much, or the size off the top of my head, however; I had them Polish & completely rebuild my Hinson Clutch Cover, they sold me an extra "o-ring" as part of the package. I saw they had dozens in stock…

Call BDT Motorsports at 909-802-6516 ask for Karl M...

Ill do that thanks... What did they charge you for the polishing? I just got a quote the other day for 195 bucks to polish to a chrome shine. Which i think is really high but i never had anything polished...

As an example; I paid 250Rtrikes $130 for my Pro-X 330R cylinder & head to a polished mirror look and $110 for my Hynson Clutch Cover, Hinson Plate and Water Pump Cover...all pieces look like a mirror!

250Rtrikes does most of the polishing work here in SoCal for most of the shops including BDT Motorsports; give BDT-M a call, they just pass on the same price charged by 250Rtrikes.

Within the past year the owners’ sons have become interested in 2 strokes and specifically CR250’s & 250R’s. I have been trying to get the owner interested in building 250R’s once again. Back in the late 80’s early 90’s, the owner of BDT Motorsports was a major 250R Honda player, specifically with Honda R&D Engineering and Honda Factory Racing…NO one knows 250R engines as well as this guy does; guaranteed!

Through BDTM, I have seen engine pictures and specifications for Honda 250R, CR250’s and CR500’s in development that never saw the light of day, never made it out of Honda R&D for various reasons, some of these included large displacement counterbalanced engines (500R) to rival Suzuki’s Quadzilla, as well as large displacement cylinders over 400CC’s…

Hence my excitement…

alright fair enough and i dont have anything against you and i even was tempted to delete my post but at the same time i was hoping they would at least be giving you a discount or something cause you do do a lot of free advertising for them but i guess you have a valid point ty for replying like that instead of with an f you or something although you dont seem like that type :)

Thanks for being professionally friendly with your post. You are correct; I should get a kick back or at least a free ride on the Dyno…:)

Pumashine:

Only picture I have was when I picked it up at 250RTRIKES and took it to BDTM. The picture came out kind of yellow (the cover is like a mirror) and taken (if I remember correctly) on my iPhone.

I don’t have the Hinson cover any longer; traded for a complete 250R engine I used for parts…

Carlos.
