Magneto cover replacement 06 Outlaw

Chain came off, bent the case saver bracket forward and into magneto case, cracking it. Found a used case cover and was planning to just replace cover and gasket. Other than oil change is there anything in particular I should inspect or service while the cover is off? Thanks!

machine is a 2006 Outlaw 500

Only thing to check for would be the starter gears for excessive wear.

Everything looked good, surprisingly!

Not sure I like the integrity of the chain guard/case saver polaris has on there however
