I should have quite a few parts you'll probably find useful. Do you have a bolt kit already?

maybe its just from lack of sleep but those nurf bars look like there made for an 86-87

You must be lacking sleep, the nerfs are from a 450R, we are making a custom pro peg mount!

ow lol either way it didn't look like 88-89 style. I have a set of nurfs that have the propeg design but they use the factory holes to mount them and those look like they did the same way.

Dan I think we created a MONSTER!! ...Won't be long we'll be watching Dave in a reality show on TLC driving around in a white van picking up ATV parts...

This is going to be a cool budget build though.. Now all he needs to do is "pawn" off that new TT 450r he just bought and pick up another 2-3 250rs!!

That's no kidding... I think I'm going to have much, much more wrapped up in my new build than my last one, and its still not finished... damn hobbies... Sure is fun though, I'm hooked.

I guess there is worse money pits out there! My RZR was WAYYY more costly than these little 250r's, you couldn't sneeze and not spend $5k on those things.... I'm also helping my buddy build a LT Sand Rail with an Aurora alum North Star V8 its beyond sick, but I could own 10 250r's for what this beast is going to cost, not too mention the upkeep. Heck the King shocks are more than one of my 250r's... haha

It looks like stock linkage to me

Chino886
09-24-2010, 05:21 PM
Stock linkage is correct!

Update: Frame was delived to my master builder today!

To do list:

Frame repair
Pro Peg nerf bars
TLR Gusset kit intallation

Stay tuned for the next installment of Asian Pickers!

Chino886
10-14-2010, 07:24 PM
Well, plans changed a bit!

LSR baja frame is en route to me!

Also traded my 450R for a 250R so I will be taking the best of all the parts and building a monster 250R.

Chino886

Size matters right!

And if I could only figure out how to get the M***er F***er on there, I think i would be :D

Chino886
10-14-2010, 07:29 PM
The best part about it, I have a 290ish motor just sitting on the shelf waiting for me to kick her over! I am probably going to put that in this LSR frame.

I might have found another frame!

Decisions.....decisions!

Sorry for the sort of hijack, but the picture brought up a question.

Can that power valve be bolted to an ESR jug that has a power valve already?

I hear that the CT ones are better

Seeing this makes me want to start a 250r aftermarket frame build. How much you think your going to have in it?

Chino886
11-14-2010, 03:55 PM
almost done tearing it down, most parts are at Powder coat.

troybilt
11-15-2010, 08:28 AM

I think its about the same, the motor is still in the frame, I will say the motor is much lighter though!

Nice build... Gets hard juggling 2 or more builds at once, I went from 3 and just made 2 great quads. 3 was way too many none of them were ever going to get done.

Thanks, its been fun digging up dinosaurs, but its time to finish one......
