looking to do a full rebuild on my 250r. mostly shopping around right now... lmk what you got. I'd be able to use a short rod crank and top I suppose if the price is right :D

i have a motor and cyl with a good crank im pretty sure its 87-89 has tall vertical openings in intake u can still see hone marks in parts of cyl. the bottom end is tight and trans is good just cracked left case where chain broke it let me know if ya want pics this thing is going cheap! $250 shipped

yeah shipping to HI would be about 100 bucks so maybe 300 shipped its yours ill throw in wiring coil and cdi. ill try to take some close up pics tomorrow but its just an old black bottom 250r motor with a broken case.

ah, that's fine. I may sell my raptor next week so I may just buy a fully running motor or a whole ATC250r and use the motor and part the rest...

yup das me!:D 2 funny! i get choke motors for my YSR's. stock 50's, air cooled YZ80's, water cooled YZ80's. fun stuff. all i get is 2 stroke stuff.

I kinda wanna get a ysr the yz80 sounds like fun. I found a nice yz80 for 700obo nice one, but my wife would get mad if I brought home another toy right now lol

lol, I actually just added a pitbike twist throttle so I could run the dirtbike 26mm mikuni it had on it when I bought it... sucker is ripping again :D

got a new set of AC nerfs but they don't clear the tires and it's starting to be a huge pita..

polished the fronts and bumper. didn't get to the rears and the nerfs yet :)

I have a spare frame that I'm thinking about having powder coated and start over with that one but I'm kinda hesitant as I don't like alot of things about it like the suspension travel or lack there of... the motor swingarm deal and the slight lack of aftermarket performance parts. I'd love to have a stroker on it :D as well as porting. but without better suspension (mostly the motor swing arm as diamond J makes a 300ex dual arm conversion for it) just not really what I think it should've been like :(

I actually have some real pegs coming in the mail and a few other small plans for it and I may just have my son run it for a while..

I really wanna get him on the track to see how it does now. I also want to lower it down a little with softer shocks.
