You should let people know where it is. Went on the web page and couldn't find any info for the track. Can't go if we don't know where it is.

Monster Mountain is in Tallassee, Alabama. All info about the race such as fee's and times are at www.sequad.com
We would be happy to have new riders who are within a reasonable distance at this race. We are really working hard to have something comparable to the NEATV series in a few years. Thanks.

How many quads are yall expecting for the novice class?

I'm going to try and make it but not sure if I will due to school and such...will be about a 5-6 hour drive for us if so.

Bump. If you are in the Southeast, try to make this event. This track wants to include quads in its program. We need to show them something. This track is capable of hosting a national.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the race, but I definately will be out there sometime closer to winter with a bunch of Quad Riders from the Breezewood Proving Grounds in SE Pennsylvania. This track looks awesome and were gonna plan a trip down that way to do some riding.

I just spent an hour on the monster mountain website and that place looks awesome!!!

But at the bottom of their schedule it says ATV'S ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE MOTOCROSS OR SX TRACK?????

Is this one of those tracks that only want us there when they have a quad race??? if so that totally SUCKS!! If you can't enjoy the facility on regular practice days = why go there and give them your money on race day!!

Somebody let me know, do they allow quads on a regular basis?

Thats not true. They have switched owners recently and have not changed the web page. The new owner is very open to quads. And we need a strong turnout at the SeQuad race to keep it that way.

That would be Mill Creek that does that, ya know the place that holds the atva national.

this is under new owners, and he is trying to work with quads and is a real stand up guy.

You Penn guys could come to our last race on Nov. 20th, also at Monster. I will be trying to get more scheduled practice days for us. The magic number is 20 quads minimum for a practice day. That is fair. We just don't have as many serious quad racers as up north but I am working on that by keeping SEQuads going.

Reading about wanting to be similar to NEATV and how people are complaining about tracks only allowing quads on certain days.

Even with the size / following of NEATV, all tracks around here only allow quads on certain days!

A few "private" tracks allow quads but they are the exception. If the owner of this track (looks awesome) really is open to quads...a large turnout is a must.

Plus...act more professional than the bikes (ie...no complaining) and it will go a long way.

Glad to hear they allow quads at all practices. Tell the owner to get that off his site.

Can't wait to ride there! Hopefully you southern quad riders will show up and help make the series a success!

When I first started racing NEATV (back in 1999) we were only allowed on the track the day of racing.

Now...most tracks (that don't have issues with the town setting limited number of race dates) will have NEATV practice the day before.

This not only allows the riders to practice on the track they will be racing, but make a weekend out of racing. Usually some fun event will happen Saturday night, depending on the track.

For example...
Dunk tanks (part of fund raiser)
Flat track racing
Bands
Bon Fire
Trick or treating (last race of year near halloween)

One of the biggest improvements to NEATV over the years.

We had a successful day. We got the return invite for our finale on Nov. 20th. I will keep everyone posted. Northern guys try to plan on coming if ya can since its not to cold in Alabama to ride that late in the year.
