I currently have a GoPro Hero Wide. I now want HD. GoPro HD is the obvious choice but I really wonder about 3 others. Anyone have:
ContourHD,
Oregon Scientific ATC9K HD, or
Drift Innovation HD170?

I've read countless reviews and comparrisons to almost every helmet camera out there....and 90% of them point to the GoPro. I don't blame them, its one nice camera. I just bought the HD and took it out for a test at my last race. On the lowest HD setting I was amazed at how well the video, and audio, quality was. At the 720P 30FPS setting there was minimal to no motion blur and looked crisp as anything. I can't wait to try out the higher settings.
I HATE spending large amounts of money at one time, especilly on something so small. But believe me, it was on of the best $300 I've spent. Well worth it and beyond.

I am selling to a friend for $50. You can get them brand new now for $100 straight from GoPro.

You need to purchase a new case aswell. The HD Hero Naked does not fit into the standard Hero Wide Case. I believe they are $30 or $40 alone. You would be better off just buying one of the packages.
