As most of you know i just acquire my new to me quad last week. When i bought it, it came with a receipt for a top end build that was performed this past May. It doesn't say on the receipt nor does the guy i bought it from know what compression piston was used. It does say that it was bored though, and the guy i bought it from said it was a 440. So to be safe, should i run race fuel, mix race fuel with 93 octane, or just run 93 octane by itself? Would it hurt if i ran race fuel only even if the piston was of a lower compression ratio?

You will be wasting your money, and possibly hurting performance, if you run race gas when not needed. Whether you run race gas or not, is directly related to the compression of the motor. Anything above 12.5:1, I would say atleast 100 octane.

Run 93, if it pings you need 100 octane or better.
