what do i need to do if i go with a cold air intake?? i have done the cam mod, has been jetted, and air box lid removed...i want to remove the air box and run a cold air style filter... is there anything else i need to do...i found a YFZ450 Velocity Intake kit with K&N filter..that does what i want to do..just need to know if i need to do anything else

I would go with the FCI (fuel customs intake) best on the market and the velocity is crappy

X2 the fci is actually "tuned" to optimize air velocity and volume into the carb where as the other intakes are basically just a tube with an unprotected air filter...
