dude get a 400ex since you dont want a dale, and the Z's break the day you get them so the 400ex is pretty much a good quad for mx or cross country, but if your very serious about mx buy an R!

i was thinking of basically an all around bike i do some mx and some woods riding...something with good power and good handling. I was thinking of a raptor. I would like the little extra power over the 400ex...what do u think

Wait for polaris to work out the problems with the predator, then get that.

Go for the 400ex. Its a good all around bike and you can't beat the prices right now if money is something that you are concerned about.

It's so funny how people who don't have a Z seem to know all about them and their flaws. Whatever. I have two, and have since the first week they were introduced. Granted, I have been plagued by one problem, and one only. It's a big one too, not enough time in the day to ride. We have had no issues at all with our Z's and love them. It's what the EX should have been, but just wasn't. I would also say the raptor would be a good choice too. Oh yeah, there is one other problem, I can't seem to stop smiling.

Hey vooduu i have seen you post several times about your 2 Z's
and i agree they are a nice quad and i was wondering if you ever race them or do you just trail ride and putt around on them?

I myself am not a racer but i like to drag race and ride fast in the woods and (play race)so the Z probably would do just fine and i would probably never have any problems with the quad. But if your a hard core MX'r or XC'r then you may start to see problems arrise. I dont know i was just trying to figure out why people claim that they break down all the time.

Just look at some of the pics our members post of them jumping and racing they go BIG on some of those jumps and abuse the crap out of thier quads on the XC course. Will the Z hold up to that? All i know is the members here have run thier EX's to he11 and back and they keep on running, I hope the Z proves to do as well.

I am a memeber of a njorvp and i like to go riding down there. i also go in the woods up by my house in north jersey. Some times i go up in vernon which i super rocky...but i will probably just use my X for that. I will probably want a bike mainly for the MX track but something that can handle going in the woods by my house. I ride fairly hard but nothing really hard. I was thinking of a 400ex but it just doesnt seem like it has enough power in it stock. I am not sure i was thinking of a raptor but the Z400 and the kfx400 dont sound too bad. How do they keep up on the track.
thank
