Condensor removal

If i am running no lights but still the fan can i remove the condensor or do i still need it?

You will need to keep the condensor if you want the fan to work properly.

I thought you could remove the regulator( thing with fins) but not the round tube rectifier..

not if you are running the fan, the regulator converts ac to dc power for the fan to work, the condenser stores a low amount of power so the headlights wont go dim at low RPM, and i guess for the fan to work properly as well

I haven't been running the regulator for years. but I use no fan and no lights.. I just removed my condensor and will try it.
