450 nerfs???

alright so i went out and bought a 05 450r this morning, paid $2900, i posted in the 450 forum also, so theres more info on it there.

just wondering if the nerfs off my ex will fit the 450?? its a 05
it wouldn't be too difficult to bend them or anything to get em to fit right? im just thinking instead of buying another set of bars when the Alba's are brand new.
i also took off the handguards and kill switch to put on the R

Are you selling the 400?? or are you gonna keep em both??? if you are gonna keep both id' just buy the stuff for the 450... why take from the 400 if it's still gonna get used??? just a thought... but for fitment... i have no idea...

oh yes, sorry, the ex is for sale now, i just got back from riding the 450 and OMG it flies.
now i understand why i wasn't winning all the time in the past month and a half of racing. i only had half a quad. ;p
but the ex is still a sweet quad! and i find it has a smoother ride also

i just helped my friend put a pair of 450r nerfs on his 400ex all we had to do was drill holes in the footpeg and use a longer bolt for the bracket that connects to the motormount, so it should work

what kind of nerf bars though, im not sure if it matters or not, but mine do not have the heal guard, just the most basic. and i wanna go EX to R

these were just basic too made by east coast atv im pretty sure

if u already have everything just give it a shot you might need to get some differnt hardware like spacers or something maybe some longer bolts
