Shim kit

ok i bought a new shim kit and i can put a bigger shim on the intake than the exhaust. i mean way bigger i put 430 and still have excissive clearnace. any one had this happen before

Were the valves recently replaced? I've never used more than a 200 on any head.

If the valve were stretched, the clearance would be too tight.

make sure your cam holder is seated. there is something wrong!! or like scro said wrong valves,

On the ones I have the intake are usally a thinner shim.
Exhaust are thicker.
