400ex rebuild question

ok well my 440ex has come to its last days. it smokes horrible, and it leaks out the head gasket. its got a 440 kit, stage 2 cam and a full fmf powercore4. if i go to a 416kit 11:1 pistion since the head gasket was leaking will i feel alot more power since the headgasket leaked comprestion? im going to a 416 remeber.

im not sure if u mean the head gasket as your cylinder gasket but if thats the one maybe your studs are stripping ? i had that problem with my 440 just got it replaced as for the smoking thats prolly just your piston rings i would think
