I read somewehre that a CR 250 brake pedal would work on a 250r. Better looks, lighter. IS this true? Has anyone ever tried this or heard of it? maybe this one would work?

I think it does, cause I believe that is what I have on mine. When I took it apart It didn't look like a standard 250r brake lever. The spring is built into the lever. It may be shorter though.

Your link doesn't work... do I didn't see the pic

Do you have any pictures of yours? IS this on a stock frame? i want an aluminum one so it polishes out better and matches my kicker, shifter and stator cover.
Thanks

Its blocked here at school. Does the pedal i posted look similar to the one on your 250r?

Its similar but definitely not the same... I'm not sure what year and what model my pedal came off of. Hoping someone else might chime in...

Actually, I didn't mention what frame, the pic which you couldn't see, was a Laeger frame. I assumed they were the same, this is my first aftermarket frame... I don't know all of the nuanses of every frame... yet ...still learning.

I have a 94 CR. I could pull the pedal off and see if it works on a stock R.

That would be awesome! Send a pic with it mounted if you get it mounted up. I have pro pegs so it might be a little different than yours but a pic would help me see if it would hit my pegs or not.
Thanks

No CR pedal is going to work on a stock TRX250R frame without major mods to either the pedal or the frame mount.
