??Shaving header tabs for 400ex??

Just curious to what that means to shave the header tabs. Is that something inside the header right at the point it bolts to the motor??

I think you mean shave the header welds. It is inside of the header where it meets your motor. There is a bead of weld running all the way around each of the exhaust pipes. They restrict air flow a little bit. I used a die grinder to take mine out.

Also a Dremel with a grinding blade work just as well.
