What are some quality nerf bars.
Need to upgrade mine are just about done.

dont tell me anything that doesnt have a heel guard. i was thinking somewhere along the lines of double nets or really big heel guards so i can stand on the balls of my feet on the pegs and not catch my heel on the top of the heel guard. i know there are a lot out there.just need some names.

We've been very satisfied with our new Rath nerfs. We were not planning on running any nerfs but glad we did!

The Houser nerf bars have the suspension peg. You don't get all the impacts through the pegs like the rest. It's really nice if you have ankle/knee/back problems. They take the jolts out if you frame out on anything, and they work on rough tracks too!

Houser suspension pegs do work. Same idea as Flexx bars essentially. When casing a jump, or flat landing, they take out the jolts like previously mentioned. Also they flex just enough to contour to your feet and legs when shifting around on the bike in a turn, or in air. They are made strong in common places that other nerfs commonly break. I was skeptical when they first came out (when I was looking for new nerfs) and didn't want to be the guinea pig to something that didn't hold up, and work well. But after riding a bike with them, and seeing them up close, def. regretting not getting them. Raths are a nice nerf, but I have just seen way too many break to spend money on them.

lonestar's have a HUGE peg and you wont have to use a ratchet strap to put them on.

Houser Pegs are pretty large and have a good amount of grip without ruining your boots after a few rides. They aren't as long as the monster pegs, but after riding a quad with the monster pegs, i don't think they help out. I never found myself moving my feet out that far.

I like that the Houser's use buckles with loops instead of the standard net mounting system because they don't get smashed and broke and become useless if you need to replace your nets.

I have broke my rath heelguards many times, but I am also not running nerfs. The want to break right at the the weld on the bracket that mounts to the footpeg. I have snapped two of them off in a year or so of owning them. I am going to try Houser next year.

I have heard of MANY MANY MANY people also snapping off Rath nerfs too.
