2005 440 ex revving high when warm HELP!!!!

I have a 2005 400ex that I just had rebuilt:

440 cylinder
11:1 namura piston
stage 2 hotcam
hot rods crank
pro x cam chain
uni filter w lid drilled ( I ride a lot of dust)

everything else is stock

klotz mx4 oil


After the bike warms up it is VERY HOT . So hot the gas actuAlly boils and my oil bubbles. Anywho. It revvs high while idle so high I have to either shut it off or put it in 4th and play with clutch till it slows and goes right back after depressing clutch. Any help would be great!!!

Is your carb still stock and if so has it been rejetted ???? What size jets are in it now ????

Yes stock carb and I'm not sure the jetting I have to call the shop that did the rebuild.. But it runs fine for about 30-45 min after that it is hott and revvs hella high

That's a nicely built motor, It's gonna need a lot of gas and air to run cool. Get the jet specs and let us know. Also, Where are you located ??? I may be interested in buying it off you. That's my kinda motor, I'll gladly take over those problems. PM me if you'd like. Thanks.

Did you use Klotz for your break in oil ????
Missouri is a little bit of a cruise, But I'm always up for a road trip.

1st 2 oil changes were valvoline 4 stroke oil and now I'm usin klotz is that 2 soon?

Perfect, How bouts the jets ???? We'll figure this out yet. lol.

still havent got jet size yet but u think i should just buy a 450R carb??? also i think my intake hose is collapsing when i throttle, Does that happen??
