400ex/300ex parts

i have a 400ex and the other day i got a 300ex with a bad motor. the 300 has alot of after market parts like axel,swing arm, a-arms, cdi box and i was just wondering if any of these parts will work on my 400?

they are all shorter than the 400ex parts and would not work easily. id be interested in the 300ex
