Importance if oversize head gasket

Do you have to run a 87mm headgasket with a 87 mm bore, or will the stock one work.

i run my stock one on my 87mm. been fine for 2+ yrs. i would run a stocker again. steve

Yeah, there's only about <1mm of a lip that hangs over, and the piston isn't coming out of the hole. I think I'm gonna run it.

Is there even such a thing as a bigger diameter headgasket?

yeah there is. 86 i think, and the rest are for sure. 87, 88, 89mm can all be had if you look in the right places. lol gt thunder and/or c and d racing has them i think. steve
