Well... I'm jealous of some of you... Nicely painted frames... bead lock wheels.. and all the other nice dress up things.... Well... I'm thinking of tearing mine apart... i was thinking of painting everything that is not plastic... and i have come accross some thoughts... concerns... Issues....

The teardown... How hard is it??? any special tools needed???? any advice???

Next... Mine is with stock YELLOW plastics... What color should the frame be??? can i paint the swing arm? What should i not paint??? what should i use for paint?? i know to clean and sand it... Should i use a Adhesive promoter? I'd do powder coating.. but i'm not sure i'd be able to afford it.... maybe... i don't know... what about the truck bed spray on liner stuff??? anyone ever try that??? i know it comes in black... which would be fine... i was thinking black anyways... But what are the toughts of everyone???

Thanks guys...

powdercoat the frame blue. it would go nicely with the yellow plastics. i would powdercoat the wheels black also

tri5ron .... lol .. loving the pink camouflage, it's even on the tires.

NMills, I would look through one of the 400EX picture threads, find one you like and build something similar. Here is a good thread to look through for ideas. (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=231367)
