You get what you pay for....

That said, the best way to go about finding a nice set of tires is to try and hit up the forums and classifieds. For example, find a guy with a brand new DS450 that is about to race, he'll off his stock tires and wheels for cheap, and they are ITP Holeshot SR's that retail for $60/tire.

Both myself and my good buddy are now running DS450 take-offs, and we got wheels/tires for around $250...that had never been used.

Here are the pics, they are 20's in the rear and 21's up front, which in my opinion is the best woods/trail set-up.

I think they would fit the 250ex too, since the Honda Bolt pattern should be the same,

Rockymountainatvmc.com, cheapest place ive found, free shipping over $100. I swear by maxxis razr's and they r the best all around woods tire, and they r short money. you can get the 4 ply razrs for about $60 a piece free shipping from that site

Yes they did, if you hang around enough of the local racing scene forums etc, you will find serious racers who are buying bikes new and instantly parting stock parts.

I put 2 new itp mud lites on my vinson this in mar 2010 now its oct and im having to replace them, tread life is still 50% but i have had lots of flats due to puntures... I ride pretty hard through out kentucky on rocky trails.. seems to me casing of tire is thin and not very durable..
The stock Dunlops on the front have over 2000 (yes thats two thousand) miles on them without a puncture.. I just purchased 4 Dunlop Quadmax 801's at an average of 68 a tire from the rockymtn website posted above..cheapest i could find them.free ship too...i let ya know how they work out

I am running the ambush from CST.. They hook very well in dirt. Only thing is they wear a little faster then holeshots, razors ect, due to the compound being a little softer.. For the money they were ahrd to beat.. Bought them mounted on ITP .190 polished wheels for 420$ shipped to my door..
