I still have a set of +3+1 laeger protrax a arms that use the tpin spindles. They are chrome upper and lowers with tierods in excellent shape. These have the swaybar mounts but are a mx thick tubing. Great set of arms just have no use for them. They do not include the spindles or stem. 400.00 obo

I would also be interested in a trade for a good set of balljoint standard travel front a arms. +2 or +3 not a cheap set like full flight but maybe a laeger, burgard, lonestar. something along those lines. I'm building another bike from my spare parts and just want to do a standard front.

I guess I'd be more interested if I knew how hard it would be to find a set of T-pin spindles. Seems like everyone only sells the protrax as a package.

Here is a pic of the +3+1's They are in great shape. I just bought +4's from a member on here and no longer need these. I figure they would be a good upgrade for someone who has ST tpin or +2's they want to widen like I did. Thanks

What length shock do they take?

19" is the correct length for the protrax. The laeger lt balljoint front uses 19-1/4" (often confused) I have used both shock lengths though with no problem.

Last question, sorry. Do you know what the overal width is with +3 arms, narrow front and 4:1 wheels? Guestimate?

Its like 47.5-48 depending on the tire you use. My +4's with wide frame and 4/1 is 49.5 (I run rzr cross fronts they are a little narrower then say a holeshot)

I guess why I was asking is I do have a set of +2 LT Laeger aarms if your interested in a trade... however, I was wanting to get closer to the 49"-49.5" range on width. Sounds like I still need to keep looking for +4's. Thanks for the quick replies.

yeah for the 49+ your gonna need a +4 or longer with a 4-1 offset wheel and also i was looking around supposedly the spindles cost $850.00 each which is ubsurd lol

The thing is when laeger was building these front ends for the R they were using 3+2 wheels so with a +3 that would put you right on. But like myself your after that width with a 4+1 wheel and it just won't happen unless you have (their) +4 arm. Now say you were going to switch brands, and run like a walsh +3 which I also had at one point that with a 4+1 will get you 50 on a 400ex/450r spindle

i would think that 3/2 wheels would be cheaper and easier?? :ermm:
