Air Shrouds

Definitely not a fan of the air shrouds no more. I was riding at the local track with the 4 hundy and my air shrouds where they bolt onto the plastics, broke a little bit. Then the next weekend, in a hole new spot...a big break and my fender is left just sagging there.

Pretty pissed but I guess my plastics were gettin old. It was kinda muddy so the mud didn't help any with weighing the plastics down, but most likely wont be putting the air shrouds back on even though I thought they helped quite a bit.

Well now to look at new plastics...anyone know any good deals or good plastics. Where should I look first?

I got a practice coming up in a few days and really don't wanna miss it and I know my new plastics wont be here on time.

Does anyone know how to shave plastics? Like what tool do you use and what do you shave along?

jig saw or sawzall. lol im going to learn from this one since i havent found much good on actually doing the procedure. maybe check out the body section and FAQ section or how to and see if there is a writeup about it. steve

tape of the body line you want and cut about a 1/4 or so away from the tape and then take aginder to smooth it down than take a razor blade and hold it on a angle and go in a forwardd stroke and itll look factory:D

you can also take a hand file or a sanding block to finish it off for a nice smooth line.

A grinder with a metal cut off blade works best, for me anyway.

Then with light sanding the excess comes off and looks really good.

Ehhh the break might be too far in. So I might just have to get new fronts.

Any good deals or place to buy them off of??
